Bachelor of Business Administration

Business administration approaches the field of business from a broad perspective, rather than a particular specialty. Students take courses of interest across the Kania School of Management and are linked with an academic advisor who provides an exceptional level of guidance and support.

Why Business Administration is in Demand:

  • Data published by the National Association of Colleges and Employers shows that business administration is one of the top five business majors preferred most by employers.
  • According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, administrative service managers earned a median annual salary of $99,290 in May 2021. (Source: Occupational Outlook Handbook)
  • The job outlook for administrative service managers is expected to grow 9% from 2020-2030, faster than average. (Occupational Outlook Handbook)
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration is excellent preparation for graduate school and professional studies, including MBA programs.

You'll learn how to:

  • Motivate and lead individuals and groups of people
  • Plan effective structures for organizations and projects
  • Analyze and solve problems
  • Design or improve systems
  • Communicate well through written and spoken word
  • Utilize technology in management
  • Make ethical decisions
  • Maintain a global perspective
