  • A minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate coursework, including at least 20 credit hours of course and seminar work.
  • Satisfactory completion of one of the research or professional experience components listed below.
    • A written thesis based on independent research
    • A comprehensive examination
    • An appropriate, professionally oriented special project
  • Those students who are not fully prepared to pursue graduate work in engineering may be required to take additional coursework for which graduate credit will not be given.

-GRE is always required for certain programs: Environmental Policy, Environmental Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.

Application Procedures - Undergraduate Applicants

Applications can be submitted to Common App. If applications are submitted to Common App, after submission students will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to set up their application portal to https://undergrad.clarkson.edu/apply/


Application Coding: In the online application, there is no coding that can be added to indicate Indo Global Studies at this time.

To code an applicant properly, the student must send details and documents to admissions@indoglobalstudies.org and IGS staff will contact Clarkson University to tag the applicant.

There is currently no fee required of applicants, and therefore no fee waiver is necessary.

Application Coding: In the online application, under the Program of Study section, please select 'Yes' to the question 'Are you applying with the help of an education agency?'. Then, please select Indo Global Studies from the dropdown menu.
