The chemical engineering program at Clarkson is known for impactful hands-on experiences, state-of-the-art facilities and research excellence, preparing students to excel and command high salaries after graduation.

Our Department helps you develop strong technical skills, as well as versatility. We will prepare you for a career in whatever setting you choose — be it a multi-billion-dollar corporation or a startup, a government agency or graduate school. The choice is yours.

Small class sizes and low student-to-faculty ratios allow close interaction with your instructors, who have combined expertise in all modern areas of chemical engineering.

We develop thought leaders prepared to change the world through new and more environmentally sound products and processes in a multitude of industries. Chemical engineers are also uniquely positioned to address climate change, particularly in developing more sustainable chemical products that minimally impact our planet.

The chemical engineering program consists of 30 credit hours in chemical engineering, 25 credit hours in science, 12 credit hours in mathematics, and 30 credit hours in professional electives. 33 credit hours are in free electives, which is enough to complete a minor or second major if you so choose.

Application Procedures - Undergraduate Applicants

Applications can be submitted to Common App. If applications are submitted to Common App, after submission students will receive a confirmation email and instructions on how to set up their application portal to https://undergrad.clarkson.edu/apply/


Application Coding: In the online application, there is no coding that can be added to indicate Indo Global Studies at this time.

To code an applicant properly, the student must send details and documents to admissions@indoglobalstudies.org and IGS staff will contact Clarkson University to tag the applicant.

There is currently no fee required of applicants, and therefore no fee waiver is necessary.

Graduate applications can only be submitted to the direct university application link.

Application Coding: In the online application, under the Program of Study section, please select 'Yes' to the question 'Are you applying with the help of an education agency?'. Then, please select Indo Global Studies from the dropdown menu.
