Full Sail, LLC, doing business as Full Sail University, is a private for-profit university in Winter Park, Florida. It was formerly a recording studio in Ohio named Full Sail Productions and Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts. The school moved to Florida in 1980, began offering bachelor's degrees in 2005,and began offering online degrees in 2007.The following year, the school was granted university status by the Florida Department of Education.

DEGREE OVERVIEW

The process of developing a game is an exceptional game in and of itself. It’s a pursuit in which the end goal is not discovered but created, step by step, by a team of talented programmers, engine builders, and designers.

Full Sail University’s Game Development bachelor of science degree program guides students through the entire game development cycle, from preproduction to finished product. Your education will enhance your ability to create program code for 3D graphic display, multiplayer gaming, artificially intelligent opponents, and real-time virtual environments.

If you've spoken to an admissions representative and completed your interview, and you're ready to begin the application process, there are several items you'll need to have ready:

A government-issued photo identification such as a driver's license, passport, or state-issued ID card.

Verification of English proficiency if English is not your primary language (all required documentation that is not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation). Click here to view international requirements.

Once you have these items, you're ready to begin the online application. Completing your application will take 30-45 minutes, and you can save your application if you run out of time or need to gather additional information.

1. Interview with Admissions Representative

The interview can be conducted via phone, Skype, or other communication tool. The interview will cover the program, admissions requirements (including the steps to submit the application), and seat deposit of $200 (campus degree only). 2. High School/Secondary School Transcript

(required for undergraduate degree programs)

Applicants who have completed high school at a foreign institution must provide official documentation which will be evaluated in-house for equivalence. Documentation not in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation.

Accelerated: Full Sail's undergraduate programs are taken on an accelerated schedule and can be completed in as little as 20 months.

Verification of Language Proficiency

Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate the required level of language proficiency by providing documentation of one of the following:

TOEFL iBT minimum required score of 79

IELTS Academic minimum required score of 6

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) score of 53
