Lawrence Technological University is a private university in Southfield, Michigan. It was founded in 1932 in Highland Park, Michigan, as the Lawrence Institute of Technology by Russell E. Lawrence. The university moved to Southfield in 1955 and has since expanded to 107 acres.

While civil engineering has always been an important discipline, the demand for civil engineers is stronger than ever. A large part of the anticipated spike in job opportunities is likely the result of the poor condition of the country(s) infrastructure.

To address this demand, the Civil Engineering program at Lawrence Tech offers a wide breadth of courses in the major civil engineering specialties, which can provide you with a diverse technical background – the kind employers value.

Full-time faculty members are experienced in their respective civil engineering specialties: environmental, water, construction, structural, geotechnical, and transportation

ACT/SAT Optional

Applicants with lower TOEFL/IELTS/PTE Scores or NO SCORES can be considered for Conditional Admission. Please go to the "CONDITIONAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS" tab for Conditional Admission Requirements.

 Fall – 23 May, Spring - 11 October, Summer - 17 February (Rolling application deadline but students must submit all required application documents at least 90 days prior to the term start date)
