Sacred Heart University is a private, Roman Catholic university in Fairfield, Connecticut. It was founded in 1963 by Walter W. Curtis, Bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Sacred Heart was the first Catholic university in the United States to be staffed by the laity.

Bachelor of Science in Marketing

In the Bachelor's in Marketing program, you will also:

  • Understand the evolution of the marketing discipline and how marketing has contributed to political, economic and legal aspects of business

  • Gain real-world experience in a unique internship program that emphasizes job search, interviewing and career assessment skills alongside experience in the field
  • Have the opportunity to become involved in the student-run Marketing Club, a Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association
  • Join the Fashion Club, if you are a fashion marketing & merchandising minor

  • If you have not done so already, register for a campus visit on our visit planner page
  • Submit your Common Application by the appropriate deadline.
  • Have your guidance office submit your current official secondary school transcript.
  • Submit one letter of recommendation from an individual other than a family member.
  • If you are applying Early Decision, submit the Early Decision Contract
  • Submit a non-refundable $50 application fee when completing your Common Application. If paying by check, make check payable to Sacred Heart University.
  • We are a test-optional school. If you elect to submit your standardized test scores, use the following Sacred Heart University codes:

    • TOEFL Code: 3780

  • SAT/ACT Reading/Writing scores (optional for general admission to SHU)
