Master of Science in Accounting and Finance Strong financial decision-making is at the heart of successful organisational strategy. At Manchester Met, we'll provide you with the tools needed to contribute to organisational activity across a range of levels. Building your expertise We’ll cover a wide range of areas including international financial reporting standards (IFRS), sustainable finance, corporate governance and financial management. You’ll learn to apply tools and models of finance theory to understand current challenges. You’ll also be able to put theory into practice by experiencing decision making in our Bloomberg Trading Room, opening in January 2025. Your dissertation will then put your expertise to the test. It will give you the opportunity to explore a specific topic in greater depth. This might involve working with an employer to investigate a business issue or answering a challenging research question. You must have a bachelor degree awarded by a university that is officially recognised in your country.

Typical minimum entry requirements depend on the course of study and can vary depending on a student’s home university ranking. 

For general admission, students are considered when achieving a minimum of either 55%, or a GPA of 6.0/10, or a GPA of 3.0/4.0.  Some courses have higher entry requirements and students’ cases are assessed individually.  Work experience strengthens a candidate’s application.

  • BTech

You should have the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at level 6.5 with no scores less than 5.5 in any section. We may accept equivalent qualifications.
