Our MBA in Business Analytics offers training in the cutting-edge tools and analytical techniques that are in high demand. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics considers data science in the top 20 fastest growing occupations and has projected 35% industry growth from 2022–2032, much faster than average for all occupations. And data scientists are #3 on Glassdoor's list of the "50 Best Jobs in America for 2022" as ranked by number of job openings, salary, and career opportunities.

The curriculum provides comprehensive analytics skills: analysis and modeling techniques that cover the whole spectrum of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics—ad hoc reports, data visualization to regression, data mining, and optimization. You will learn how to solve real-world business problems with cutting-edge software tools like R, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.

Student life includes a Business Analytics student organization: the Pace Chapter of INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences). INFORMS hosts guest speakers from the industry and organizes social activities for Business Analytics students. It has ties with the New York Metro Chapter of INFORMS, the local chapter of professionals in the field.

  • All Official Transcripts
    • Transcripts from every accredited college or university attended (not just the degree granting institution) must be sent either to Pace University, directly from the academic institution electronically or by mail, or forwarded by the applicant in sealed envelopes from the academic institution.
    • Academic records issued in a language other than English are required to be translated and attested to by the institution of origin or a Pace-approved translation agency accredited through the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
    • Transcripts are considered official only if they are sent directly to Pace University from the educational institution of origin, or forwarded by
    • Applicants may upload unofficial copies of all transcripts to the application dashboard for the initial processing and review of your application. If you are admitted, your offer is contingent upon the receipt and verification of all official printed transcripts.
    • Applicants who have earned a degree or completed coursework at Pace University will not be required to submit a transcript from Pace University and are required to indicate on the application that they have attended Pace. Transcripts from all other institutions attended are required and must be submitted to be considered for admission.

Please note: Pace University partners with several electronic transcripts networks: Credentials, Parchment Exchange, National Student Clearing House, and eSCRIP-SAFE. Whenever possible, Pace prefers to receive transcripts electronically. Confirm with your prior institution to determine if they participate in any of these networks.     • Letters should be from academic or professional references that can knowledgeably comment on your ability to successfully complete graduate study.
    • Please note that three letters of recommendation are required for the PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology, the MSEd in School Psychology, and the MSEd in Bilingual School Psychology.
    • Applicants to the MS in Human Resource Management program who are requesting a waiver of the GMAT/GRE based on work experience are required to submit one letter of recommendation from their employer verifying the dates of employment and the work performed.
    • Applicants to the PhD in Mental Health Counseling program must submit three letters of recommendation, two of which must be academic in nature, indicating your potential for achievement in doctoral study and potential to complete doctoral work and/or counseling skills. The letters of recommendation should address your intellectual ability, written and communication skills, maturity, initiative/independence, and creativity/ originality.
    • For the Seidenberg School of Computer Science & Information Systems and the Lubin School of Business, two letters of recommendation are optional, but strongly recommended. If you choose to submit letters of recommendation in support of your application, letters should be from academic or professional references who can knowledgeably comment on your ability to successfully complete graduate study. Please note that the Graduate Admission Committee reserves the right to require letters of recommendation on a case by case basis.

A personal statement explaining to the Graduate Admission Committee why you would like to pursue the program of graduate study you have chosen. Additional information regarding your academic performance, as well as professional experience, may also be included in the supplement.

English-Language Proficiency Requirements

Students who do not qualify for one of the English Proficiency exam waivers listed below must present proof of English proficiency by submitting scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or Pearson PTE academic academic that are no more than two years old.

Please note that students that have been in the United States for less than 6 years will be required to submit an exam indicating proof of English proficiency.

For Lubin School of Business, a minimum TOEFL iBT® score of 80, a minimum TOEFL® Essentials™ score of 8.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, Pearson PTE academic score of 52, a minimum overall Duolingo score of 115, an ISE II Distinction in Trinity Exam or a Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency score of 176 on Cambridge Exam is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.

For School of Education, a minimum TOEFL iBT® score of 88, a minimum TOEFL® Essentials™ score of 9.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 7.0, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 61 is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.

For Seidenberg School of CSIS, a minimum TOEFL iBT® score of 78, a minimum TOEFL® Essentials™ score of 8.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, Pearson PTE academic score of 52 ,a minimum overall Duolingo score of 115, an ISE II Distinction in Trinity Exam or a Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency score of 176 on Cambridge Exam is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs.

For Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, a minimum TOEFL iBT® score of 88, a minimum TOEFL® Essentials™ score of 9.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 7.0, a Pearson PTE academic score of 60, a minimum overall Duolingo score of 115, an ISE III Merit in Trinity Exam or a Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency score of 185 on Cambridge Exam is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University programs with the exception of Communication and Digital Media.

*For Communication and Digital Media, a minimum TOEFL iBT® score of 100, a minimum TOEFL® Essentials™ score of 10.5, a minimum overall IELTS score of 7.5, or a Pearson PTE academic score of 68, or a minimum overall Duolingo score of 130, an ISE III Distinction in Trinity Exam or a Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency score of 191 on Cambridge Exam is sufficient to demonstrate the required proficiency in English for admission directly into Pace University’s Communication and Digital Media program
