If your aim is to build a future as a leader who promotes health equity in urban populations, UMass Boston's Urban Public Health Bachelor of Science program is for you. You will acquire fundamental knowledge of public health science, education, and practice as well as an aptitude for critical problem solving, analysis and interpretation of data, and an understanding of socio-economic and cultural diversity among people in urban settings. You will also participate in real-world public health practice experiences in community settings, governmental agencies, private sector, and health organizations.
