The Biology major is ideal for students wanting to further their education in medicine, ecology, wildlife, genetics or a variety of other areas. The Biology major offers four concentrations: Integrative Biology, Global Health Biology, Science Education and Cell and Molecular Biology. Available courses include:

- Modern Concepts of Bioscience
- Microbiology
The Integrative Biology degree plan introduces students to the wholeness of biology through an integrative perspective. The Global Health degree plan is designed for students with an interest in tropical diseases, their etiology and their control, and offers a wide range of career paths. The Science Education degree plan prepares students to obtain a science education certification. The Cell and Molecular Biology degree plan provides a solid foundation in cellular function and genetic control of biological processes to support exploration of disease etiology.
Baylor offers Alpha Epsilon Delta, a student-led organization for students interested in Pre-Health Care programs. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the Waco and Baylor communities.
Baylor University offers several Living-Learning Centers, which are housing opportunities designed to place students of common interests together in living and learning environments. Baylor offers a Science & Health Living-Learning Center where students with common interest in pursuing a career in medicine and the sciences will be able to collaborate with each other as well as science faculty and medical researchers.
