About the Structural Engineering Program
The MS in Structural Engineering program has been developed collaboratively between SU faculty members and our Industry Advisory Board. The Industry Advisory Board is composed of representatives from the top structural engineering firms and public-sector institutions in the Seattle region. With industry help, we were developed a program emphasizing student-centered course design and practical application. Features of this program include:

45 credits to complete
9 Technical Skills courses (4 credits each)
3 Professional Skills courses (3 credits each)
Complete your MS in 6 academic quarters
Part-time courses suitable for working professionals
Do you need Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for PE licensure or renewal? You can register for individual courses instead of the full program

Application: Completed Application for Graduate Admission.

Personal Statement: A 300-word essay on one of the following topics: the job you would like to have after graduating; OR a problem you would like to solve, or have already solved, using analytical skills

Official transcripts of all post-secondary education institutions attended in the last 90 quarter/60 semester credits of the bachelor’s degree, including any transfer credits earned during this time, and any post-baccalaureate coursework. Unofficial transcripts can be used for the admissions process if official transcripts are unavailable.
