The Academy of Art University, formerly Academy of Art College and Richard Stephens Academy of Art, is a private for-profit art school in San Francisco, California. It was founded as the Academy of Advertising Art by Richard S. Stephens in 1929.

Master of Science in Biology

The Department of Biology requires the completion of a thesis. 

  • The comprehensive final examination over all of the work offered for the degree, including the thesis, is oral.

The language of instruction at OU is English. Adequate English language skills are essential to academic success. If you are not from one of the OU Exempted English-Speaking Countries*, Graduate Admissions will require you to demonstrate English language proficiency for studying at OU, before admission, by doing one of the following:
