Bachelor of Science in Accounting

The B.S. in Accounting provides a foundation in the essential skills in financial and managerial accounting, taxation, and auditing. The curriculum provides a systems approach to prepare students to be technically competent, alert to ethical issues and able to adapt to changes in technology, regulation and globalization.

The BS in accounting is specifically designed to provide a foundational premise for students to pass the CPA exam.

Admission Requirements

LIU accepts TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo, SAT or ACT as English Proficiency Testing. Below are the scoring requirements for direct entry into an academic program

Application Deadline

LIU has a rolling admissions policy, meaning that you can apply up until the beginning of the semester. It’s important to apply as soon as possible so that you have plenty of time to secure your student visa. We recommend applying anywhere from 5 to 12 months prior to the start date. The Spring semester starts at the end of January and the Fall semester begins at the beginning of September.
