WilmU M.S. in Information Technology Project Management is an interdisciplinary, customizable master’s program designed to propel the advancement of current project managers, or prepare professionals in business, health professions, education or IT with the expertise to successfully enter the upper levels of project management within their industry.

Program Purpose

The College of Technology(s) Masters of Science in Information Technology Project Management provides professionals with IT project management perspectives as well as problem solving skills to manage major technology projects, business, health, and education initiatives, policies, and other activities in both the public and private sectors.

With emphasis on AI automation in Agile PM, including planning and scheduling, estimating, managing risk and quality, this degree prepares students to fill vital management and supervisory roles in a wide range of industries.

Program Design

The 36-credit M.S. Information Technology Project Management degree is classified as a STEM program.  Students will develop several advanced technology project management frameworks, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications and solutions, and technological skills.  Students will complete a 15-credit core, 15-credit concentration, 3-credit capstone course and 3-credit research project.

Students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The program must be completed within five years.

Applying for admission as an F-1 visa applicant is a multi-step process.  Your Designated School Official (DSO) will provide you with information and assistance throughout this process. Application and required documents must be received by the following deadlines:

Fall Semester Applicants by July 31 
Spring Semester Applicants by November 30 
Summer Semester Applicants by March 31

Once you submit all the required documents and any additional program requirements, you will be issued a Form I-20 within seven business days.

With your Form I-20, you will pay the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) fee. After the issuance of Form I-20 and payment of the SEVIS fee, you will need to schedule a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy with the jurisdiction over your location. Once granted the F-1 Student Visa, you can enter the U.S. up to thirty (30) days prior to the program start date on your Form I-20.
