Systems engineers are experts in the interaction of machines, people, materials, energy, software and hardware. Students earning the Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering do projects and conduct research in supply chain management, smart manufacturing and transportation, and autonomous surveillance, for example. They gain proficiency in how systems interact with one another other and society. Systems engineering undergrads have worked on exciting projects with major agencies such as NASA and high-profile industry partners. Undergraduates master skills for careers in fields ranging from entertainment to national security.
