Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a public research university in the state of Georgia with two campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan area, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta on a combined 581 acres (235 ha) of land. The school was founded in 1963 by the Georgia Board of Regents using local bonds and a federal space-grant during a time of major Georgia economic expansion after World War II. KSU also holds classes at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Dalton State College, and in Paulding County (Dallas).[6] The total enrollment exceeds 45,000 students making KSU the third-largest university by enrollment in Georgia.

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

A Civil Engineering degree from Kennesaw State prepares you for planning, designing, and constructing structures essential to modern life like buildings, bridges, roads, pipelines, canals, dams, airports, and railways. The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree program teaches you the basic engineering principles, how to plan and manage construction projects, and to bring into consideration the many associated systems and resources that can impact the project.

As a Civil Engineering student, you will learn to master technical content as well as develop effectiveness in the areas of communication, fiscal management, and project control. The broad-based program curriculum is designed to help you become a professional engineer who can capably handle both the technical and managerial aspects of a civil engineering project.

  1. Submit your application and $40 fee online by the deadline posted for your desired semester of entry
  2. Submit official transcripts of ALL your high school or post-secondary records (if any)
  3. ENGLISH REQUIRMENT - IELTS - 6.5; PTE - 58; TOFEL - 79
  4. Official English evaluations of all foreign documents are needed. You must have your foreign transcripts evaluated by one of the following credential evaluations services found at naces.org or aice-eval.org
      Sample evaluation companies include International Education Evaluation (IEE) 
    1. High school transcript must have a document-by-document evaluation, including GPA
    2. College and university transcript must have a course-by-course evaluation, including GPA
