Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a public research university in the state of Georgia with two campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan area, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta on a combined 581 acres (235 ha) of land. The school was founded in 1963 by the Georgia Board of Regents using local bonds and a federal space-grant during a time of major Georgia economic expansion after World War II. KSU also holds classes at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Dalton State College, and in Paulding County (Dallas).[6] The total enrollment exceeds 45,000 students making KSU the third-largest university by enrollment in Georgia.

Bachelor of Science in Physics

Physics is the foundation for every other science and engineering field. The basis of the Bachelor of Science in Physics degree is the traditional preparation of a student for graduate study in physics. This degree features a combination of hands-on learning with renowned international faculty and access to high-end equipment. The focus on nature and properties of energy and matter, covering topics like mechanics, heat, light, radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and more opens the door to careers and opportunities in astronomy, physics, engineering and beyond.

One benefit of studying physics as KSU is the opportunity to do cutting-edge research with a faculty member. Our areas of research are theoretical and experimental particle physics, optics, computational physics, condensed matter, materials physics, and astrophysics.

  1. Submit your application and $40 fee online by the deadline posted for your desired semester of entry
  2. Submit official transcripts of ALL your high school or post-secondary records (if any)
  3. ENGLISH REQUIRMENT - IELTS - 6.5; PTE - 58; TOFEL - 79
  4. Official English evaluations of all foreign documents are needed. You must have your foreign transcripts evaluated by one of the following credential evaluations services found at naces.org or aice-eval.org
      Sample evaluation companies include International Education Evaluation (IEE) 
    1. High school transcript must have a document-by-document evaluation, including GPA
    2. College and university transcript must have a course-by-course evaluation, including GPA
