Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit is a private Catholic research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded by members of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, Duquesne first opened as the Pittsburgh Catholic College of the Holy Ghost in October 1878 with an enrollment of 40 students and a faculty of six.

Applying to the Program

Applying to the Biotechnology Program is a straightforward process through our online portal. To be eligible for admission to the program, all prospective students should provide the following:

  1. A completed online application form.
  2. A Statement of Purpose.
  3. Official transcripts from all prior colleges and universities attended.
  4. At least two Letters of Recommendation.
  5. An official GRE score report from the Education Testing Service.
  6. For non-native English speakers, submission of official scores from TOEFL, IELTS, or DuoLingo is required - TOEFL is 90 ; IELTS is 7 ; Duolingo is 115.

Duquesne University Admission Deadlines

Applications at Duquesne University take place on a rolling basis. The admissions take place in the fall/ summer/ spring semesters.
