Indiana Institute of Technology is a private university in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was founded in 1930 as Indiana Technical College by John A. Kalbfleisch, who was also the school's first president. The university today is organized into three colleges.

Today, organizations have a great need for professionals who have an in-depth understanding of both computers and business. The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) is designed for professionals with a technical or business degree who aspire to assume managerial responsibilities or who want to broaden their knowlege of both business and technology. The MSIS enables students to develop the knowledge and skills required to apply, design and manage information systems that respond to market demands and industry needs.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Master of Science in Information Systems, you will be able to:

Demonstrate advanced, comprehensive knowledge of key areas of information systems and apply that knowledge into practice.

Use information technology as a tool for business strategy.

Identify privacy and security threats in organizations and propose tools and mechanisms for protection.

Identify and evaluate ethical dilemmas and apply ethical decision-making techniques to resolve them.

Demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills and use diverse technology tools to evaluate and communicate data in professional and academic settings.

Graduate Admissions Requirements

To be admitted to the graduate school, you must:

Complete graduate application for free on our website

Have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (equivalent to a four-year US baccalaureate degree)

You must submit an official copy of your Bachelor’s transcripts in order to be admitted (official English translated)

If you are transferring from a current Master’s program, foreign transcripts typically needs to be evaluated by one of Indiana Tech’s approved transfer credit agencies

Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5

Our office will calculate your GPA in house using your completed Bachelor’s transcripts

Submit English proficiency test results (for students from non-English speaking countries) from the below list of approved testing agencies:

TOEFL (iBT)- 70

IELTS – 6.0

PTE – 51

Duolingo English Test (DET) – 95

International applications will not be reviewed until all of the above documentation has been received, and additional information may be required before an acceptance decision can be made. Once reviewed, we will notify you of our decision.

To obtain the proper immigration document (i.e. I-20 or DS-2019), please be prepared to submit the following:

Current (within the last six months) official financial statement showing sufficient funds in USD

Sponsor’s Affidavit of Financial Support

Copy of official passport

Application Procedures - Undergraduate & Graduate Applicants

Application Coding: In the online application, students must indicate they are working with Indo Global Studies. We cannot offer commission for your applicants unless the coding procedures are completed correctly. 

When submitting the application in the Indiana Tech portal, please answer 'Yes' to the question 'Are you working with an agent?' Then select or enter “Indo Global” as the agency name.

Document must be completed and uploaded directly to the IIT portal. If student answers 'No' to any question, they are not a qualified candidate to IIT and should not apply.

Document Submission: All documents can be uploaded to the university application portal. Documents can be uploaded both before the application is submitted and after application submission by logging back into the university application portal. The financial documents are required to issue an admission decision.
