The School of Business invites you to advance your career with our dynamic and industry-relevant graduate degree. You’ll gain valuable, in-demand skills in accounting that can translate into higher paying positions and greater opportunities for career advancement. The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) is a hybrid program designed to prepare students for a professional career in the expanding field of accounting.
Built for working professionals, this hybrid program offers convenient weekend courses on campus, online, and remotely (synchronous). Undergraduate accounting majors can complete the program in two years. Depending on how many prerequisites a non-accounting major may have, it could take them an additional six months to complete their MAcc degree. The purpose of this MAcc is to provide a direct pathway to CPA exam eligibility and better prepare students to be highly ethical, transformational stewards in the accounting profession.
This two-year program enables domestic students to earn credit for accounting work/internships while in the program and allows international students to use CPT and work in the United States while gaining valuable accounting industry experience.
*We also offer an accelerated MAcc that you can complete in 12-18 months. This is also a hybrid program, offering courses on campus, online, and remotely (synchronous).
