Missouri State University
901 S National Ave, Springfield, MO 65897, United States

Missouri State University is a public university in Springfield, Missouri. Founded in 1905. It is the state's second largest university by enrollment, with an enrollment of 23,418 in the fall semester of 2023.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in civil engineering requires at least 133 credit hours.

You must earn a grade of “C” or better in all civil engineering courses.

The 133 required credit hours are in addition to credit received for algebra, trigonometry and basic ROTC courses.

Note: Some of the non-engineering courses you take at MSU (like physics and calculus) count for more credit hours than the same courses at Missouri S&T.

Thus, the total required credit hours at MSU (133) and Missouri S&T (129) are slightly different for civil engineering, but you’ll still take the same amount of courses.
