Submit an online application to the Graduate program and the accompanying $65 application fee.

Official transcripts should be sent directly to the Admissions Office by all secondary and post-secondary institutions you have attended. Transcripts must include English translations. 

The school(s) you attended may also send them as official electronic copies. Transcripts must come directly from the institution(s) and NOT from a personal email address. Electronic copies can be sent to isr@cmich.edu.

GPA: 2.7 (or 3.0 in the last two years of study)

TOEFL - 79 IBT for regular admission. School Code 1106

IELTS - 6.5 for regular admission. 

PTE - 53 for regular admission.

DUOLINO - 100 for regular admissions.

Fall Admission, classes begin late August:

The admissions committee reviews completed applications according to the preceding schedule. Therefore, it is prudent to apply early. International applicants are encouraged to apply even earlier as visa process usually takes time.

Application Procedures - Undergraduate & Graduate Applicants

Start the application online using the link provided above.
Application Coding: In the online application, students must tag the application to .Indo Global Studies.

In the 'More About You' tab, students must select "I am a non-US resident who has or will need a Visa to attend CMU and be in the US' Once selected, a section titled "International Education Agent" will appear. Students must answer 'Yes' to the question "Are you working with an international education agent?" Then type "Indo Global Studies"

Document Submission: Documents should be uploaded directly to the Central Michigan University application portal.
