Located near the mountains of upper east Tennessee, ETSU is an accredited public 4-year university home to almost 15,000 students. ETSU offers over 100 undergraduate and graduate academic programs in subjects such as the sciences, business, health sciences, the arts, and technology, including highly ranked programs in Computing, Public Health, Nursing, and MBA, among others. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is designed for students who wish to advance their knowledge and preparation for positions of responsibility in business or not-for-profit institutions. It is recognized as a key to success in both large and small organizations. The MBA is available to students whose undergraduate studies were in business or non-business fields.  An MBA provides you with valuable business knowledge, leadership skills, and networking opportunities, which can enhance your marketability and open doors to new career paths. GMAT (Traditional Track Only)

GMAT test scores will be waived if students meet one of the following conditions:

 Completion of another graduate degree, regardless of subject area,

 a 3.0 or higher GPA from an AACSB- accredited undergraduate business program

a 3.5 or higher GPA from a non- AACSB-accredited undergraduate business program or a non-business discipline undergraduate degree

Students with at least three years of post-undergrad professional, full-time work experience will be considered for a GMAT waiver. An applicant’s work experience must be evaluated and approved by program representatives before the GMAT waiver can be approved.  Candidates should email a cover letter and resume detailing all professional work experience to MBA@etsu.edu  to request a GMAT waiver before applying to the MBA program.
